First off, the curry is delicious, with decent portions. I had the goat curry, and it really knocks it out of the park. A good rolling heat, robust and balanced use of spices in the curry sauce, the meat is tender and delicious. The parking is VERY tight. And the 20 minute wait was rough. But, the staff was friendly and attentive. If you like curry, you must try this place. The cost is decent compared to other curry spots, and the portions are generous.
Ordered the navrattan korma and garlic naan by phone for pickup. The young woman who answered the phone (and who I assume is the same one who later handed me my food) was friendly and responsive. The place looks worse for the wear on the outside but the inside looks clean. The korma was creamy, rich, and flavorful but some chewy bits. The rice had a really good flavor and texture, well prepared. And the lassi was delicious too! Only complaint is that it wasn't really spicy at all despite choosing Medium (between mild, medium, and hot) and the chewy bits of the korma, but both small things and I will definitely check this place out again for more dishes :) Is the buffet still happening??
We stopped here on the way to Tucson. The menu had good options. The food was fresh and tasted very delicious. Definitely recommended!!
This place is a hidden gem. Try it to believe it! We were traveling through Las Cruces and had a dinner here. Paneer makhani was on spot, texture and taste wise. Garlic chilli naan was nice and crispy. Samosa were really amazing too. Saw lot of take aways even close to the closing time of the restaurant. Was very surprised to find such a great quality indian food in Las Cruces! Must try! The food gave a feeling of home made dishes.
Please don’t go during closing time because they don’t even take the order right and they give you all left over food because I ordered Mutter Paneer, but they even me something else and the rice quantities was so less and the lady hate to cancel or minus order. Totally unacceptable. I would give them zero star but Google doesn’t have that choice. Please think twice going there. I have left a picture of comparison between Mutter Paneer on the right is totally correct order. Garlic naan suck they don’t even fresh. Health Department needs to shut this place down. Please stay away from this place don’t even waste your time going there. That go to all my Indian brothers and sister and my us brothers and sisters.
Worst experience. Water has bad smell. Restroom was untidy. In terms of food, we expexted more better. I have been eating so many indian restaurants over the United States, but food here was below average. The piece of lime maybe cut more than three years ago (just kidding). But average price was high. They should be more careful with overall restaurant environment
First time here, did not disappoint. If you're looking for something a little different from the everyday out here in Cruces, give this place a try. I tried everything on the menu and I felt it was a ll well seasosoned. I also tried the masala tea, not sure if I like it though, it having milk. Chicken tiki had the right amount of spice for my palet. Staff is friendly and attentive. I'm coming back! This place never disappoints thank you very much India Hut!!!
Really really good food and great service. There are a lot of options, both vegetarian and meat dishes. They also have goat and lamb which is not very easy to find elsewhere.
